Fun and inspiring and dance classes

Based in Bromsgrove the school offers fun classes in ballet, tap, freestyle, acro & commercial. Inspiring creativity & expression while learning correct technique and improving confidence.

At Spirals we want everyone to have fun performing and doing what they love, all while creating long lasting memories!

We provide lots of performance opportunities for our students including the annual Spirals show which is a huge highlight, Chance 2 Dance at the Birmingham hippodrome, Bromsgrove Carnival just to name a few.

At Spirals we follow the prestigious IDTA & Acrobatic Arts Syllabus. Examinations are optional; however, they are an excellent way of encouraging progression, commitment, & a sense of achievement in a child.

We also attend festivals, conventions & events with our competition team, teaching dedication & passion for performance.

At Spirals Dance & Performance Academy, our Competition Troupe classes are designed for committed students who are passionate about dance and ready to be pushed to the next level. Dancers are invited to join based on dedication, skill, and drive. Weekly sessions include focused technique training and cutting-edge choreography, preparing students to perform at competitions and events throughout the year.

Acro Dance

Spirals Dance & Performance Academy, our Acro Dance classes combine the strength and flexibility of acrobatics with the creativity and flow of dance.

Taught by Acrobatic Arts certified instructors, students follow a safe and progressive training method to master skills like rolls, handstands, walkovers, and more.

As an official ACROPAD centre, we use specialist ACROPAD equipment to safely support and enhance tumbling and skill development. Classes are fun, challenging, and confidence-boosting—perfect for dancers who love to move, flip, and grow!

Commercial Dance

At Spirals Dance & Performance Academy, our Commercial Dance classes bring the energy and style of the stage and screen into the studio.

Inspired by music videos, concerts, and pop culture, this class blends elements of street, hip-hop, and jazz to create bold, dynamic routines.

Dancers build confidence, performance skills, and versatility while dancing to chart-topping hits in a fun, high-energy environment. Perfect for aspiring performers who love to shine

Freestyle Jazz

At Spirals Dance & Performance Academy, our Freestyle Jazz classes blend high-energy movement with individual expression and style.

Dancers learn jazz technique, kicks, leaps, and turns while exploring their creativity through dynamic choreography and improvisation.

Set to upbeat, current music, classes focus on strength, flexibility, and stage presence in a fun, empowering atmosphere. Perfect for dancers who love to move with passion and personality!

Tap Dancing Class

At Spirals Dance & Performance Academy, our tap dance classes are energetic, rhythmic, and fun! Dancers learn to create percussive sounds with their feet while developing musicality, coordination, and timing.

Classes focus on tap technique, steps, and combinations, progressing from basic rhythms to more complex patterns.

Whether your dancer is a beginner or more advanced, tap class is a great way to build confidence, precision, and performance skills—all in a supportive and upbeat environment

Ballet Classes

Spirals ballet classes focus on building beautiful ballet technique, strength, and grace.

We follow the IDTA syllabus working on alignment and control including adage (slow movements), allegro (jumps), and traveling combinations in a focused, supportive environment.
